Words from the author: "My model had blonde hairs and a bright skin. I didn't want a simple white background, so I preferred to used a pink wrap to envelop the girl. The stripbox was directed toward the corner of the wall, in order to improve the diffusion of the light (this is why I put also a black flag to modulate the light spill) and reduce its intensity (the strobe was already at its minimum value, but I had to reduce it more). Words from the author: "I was playing with a torch in my studio during a break. I got the idea of making a funny portrait using the torch and the studio lighting setup. So I put my camera on a tripod and switched the focus mode on manual in order to fix it at the right distance. Then I set a long time for the exposure and the delayed shooting mode. This was for having enough time to paint the scene with the torch. I also set theflash mode on "rear curtain" to freeze myself at the end of the exposure by a stripbox. The snoot was used to create a separation light behind me. Finally I just added the red/yellow sparkles at the top of the two stands in post-production."
